A breast lift—or mastopexy—restores shape, position, and youthful projection without necessarily changing size. My approach focuses on creating natural results with scars that heal beautifully over time.

Unlike breast augmentation, a lift doesn't significantly change your breast size—it restores shape and position. However, many patients choose to combine a lift with implants or fat transfer if they want both lift and added volume.
The result? Breasts that sit higher on the chest with improved projection and a more youthful contour.
When performed well, a breast lift delivers some of the most satisfying results in plastic surgery—because it restores what was once there.
Raise breasts that have dropped due to pregnancy, nursing, weight loss, or simply time and gravity.
Move downward-pointing nipples to a more forward, youthful position on the breast mound.
If stretched over time, the areolas can be reduced to a size that complements your newly shaped breasts.
Breast sagging—what we call ptosis—happens to virtually every woman eventually. The causes vary, but the solution is the same.
Breasts expand and contract during pregnancy and breastfeeding, often leaving them deflated and lower on the chest.
Significant weight loss—especially with GLP-1 medications—can leave excess skin and volume loss in the breasts.
Over time, skin loses elasticity and Cooper's ligaments stretch. Gravity does the rest. A lift reverses these effects.
Some women naturally have breasts that sit lower or develop ptosis earlier. Genetics play a significant role.
After nursing three kids, I didn't recognize my own body anymore. Dr. Neavin gave me back breasts I'm proud of—and the scars are already barely visible at six months.

The incision pattern depends on how much lift you need. I always use the least amount of incision necessary to achieve your goals.
Incision circles the areola only. Minimal scarring, but limited lifting power. Best for minor sagging or areola reduction.
Incision around the areola plus a vertical line to the breast crease. The most common technique—effective lift with well-hidden scars.
Adds a horizontal incision along the breast crease. Provides maximum lift and reshaping for women with severe sagging.
A lift alone restores position but not size. If you've lost volume, we have options to restore fullness—including a natural alternative to implants.
Combines lift with saline or silicone implants for women who want both elevation and a significant size increase.
My specialty. We harvest fat from areas you don't want it and transfer it to your breasts for natural-feeling, modest volume enhancement.
Recovery from breast lift surgery is typically smoother than patients expect. Here's what the timeline looks like.
Outpatient procedure—you'll go home the same day
Sutures removed, short walks encouraged
Most patients back to desk jobs
Resume exercise and normal routine
This is the question I hear most often. Yes, breast lift surgery leaves scars—that's unavoidable when we remove excess skin. But here's what I tell my patients:
The scars are well-concealed around the areola and in the natural contours of the breast. They fade significantly over 6-12 months and are easily hidden by bras and swimsuits.
More importantly: I've never had a patient tell me they regret trading their sagging breasts for scars. The improvement in shape and confidence far outweighs the marks left behind.
